The sun is not always present in the Netherlands in summer, but when it breaks through it is reflected on the water brilliantly. And even on our grey days, the water, wind, clouds and waves either wave worries away or carry a new dream to be realised. These photos were taken on the south-west coast, at Domburg beach, on one of the northern islands, Vlieland and an artificial island, once build as a fortress called Pampus in the river IJ, leading up to Amsterdam.
